Boasting an above-average number of sunny days a year, it is almost always bathing weather in the Engadin. In the summer, even the mountain lakes warm up to a pleasant 20 °C.
Lej Nair is situated in a particularly idyllic location, 200 metres below Lake Hahnen, and can only be reached on foot. Not far away is Lej Marsch, one of the most popular bathing lakes in the region thanks to its sheltered yet sunny position and its proximity to the car park of the Olympic ski jump.
Lake Staz, located between St Moritz and Pontresina, is perfect for \"water rats\". While the cooler Lake Cavloccio is a good one-hour hike from Maloja, the golf lakes on the banks of the River Inn are just around the corner. Well equipped with picnic areas, barbecue sites and children's playground, they are particularly ideal for families.
