Thanks to an elaborate redesign, the municipality has diverted traffic and created a whole new meeting place in the village center. No wonder people in Silvaplana are visibly proud of the new appearance, which signifies an upgrade for locals and guests alike. From June to October, the "Restorant sülla plazza" invites you to spend pleasant hours with food and drink - after a hike for an aperitif on the village square or as a stopover on a bike tour for a bite to eat.
In summer and winter the square is regularly used for theater performances, concerts, markets, or children's events. Thus, what has been wished for a long time has been created in Silvaplana - a real village square.
