In the "Caferama" coffee museum you will learn everything about coffee production, the history of its discovery, how the coffee bean came to us and the role played by the people of Engadin and Puschlav. In addition, you can expect exciting information on more than 80 coffee tree species and on how the popular hot beverage works. The rest of the tour provides insights into the cultivation and processing of coffee.
Historical photos, paintings and other exhibits show the importance of coffee centuries ago, how the roasting process has been refined over the centuries and how many different types of coffee there are in the world. The best comes at the end: In the in-house café you can taste our freshly roasted coffee along with fine Engadine baked goods. Numerous coffee varieties as well as other coffee-related products are available for sale.
