Visit the church of San Gian Summer

Celerina
The church of San Gian with its two unmatching towers is our regions landmark. It is one of the valleys old mother churches: in former times, christenings and burials could take place only here.

The church stands on a hill in the plain between Celerina, Samedan and Punt Muragl and cannot be missed.

Visit the church of San Gian on your own during opening hours.

Every Monday, there is a guided tour with exciting explanations. Other guided tours are offered for private groups as special tours at special times and for an extra charge. Registration and information for private guided tours at the Celerina Tourist Information: +41 81 830 00 11 / celerina@engadin.ch.

By the way: Photography is not allowed in the church to protect the frescoes.
