Staged photography aims to tell stories and image ideas – with the help of a scene that is usually constructed or put together in advance. The medium of photography is more of a means of visually implementing these strategic concepts. The photographer works a bit like a film director and first creates the scenes to be photographed in his imagination.
Creative director, photographer and author Fabrizio D'Aloisio reveals how you can prepare and implement a photographic production. You will learn that the photography itself is only a small part of the process and that – in contrast to reportage photography, for example – the idea generation and planning make up the largest part of the work. Get creative and develop film-ready photographs.
