The exhibition traces a timeline through the artist’s illustrious career, showcasing Coigny‘s diversity and expertise as a classic photographer, whose devotion to analogue has sustained the course of his 50-year professional journey. Coigny currently devotes most of his time to his personal work, specialising in black and white nude, landscape, and still-life photography, which are the highlights of this exhibition. With a delicate treatment of his subjects bordering on the reverential, Coigny celebrates the figures, landscapes and compositions that catch his eye with tact and grace. He seamlessly transitions from one genre to another with ease, maintaining the classically elegant aesthetic that defines his work and marks a hallmark in Swiss photography.
