Start and finish is at the multi-purpose hall Maloja. First it goes on the wide forest path from Maloja to Isola. At the end of Isola, you continue to Sils on the narrow path along the bank over hill and dale. Instead of continuing to the village of Sils, the path follows the lake shore and branches off just before Chastè Turn towards Maloja main road. A few meters lead over asphalt and over the main road before the heart of the run is imminent. It runs along the Via Engiadina with far-reaching views over Lake Sils and the surrounding mountains to Grevasalvas. From the Heidi village, the Maiensssiedlung above Plaun da Lej, the path continues on a wide section to the second Maiensssiedlung, Blaunca.
