The Kulm Hotel St. Moritz was the first hotel to be built in St. Moritz. Since its opening in 1856, it quickly established itself as a popular destination for guests from all over the world and looks back on a unique and historic past.
Winter tourism was launched here in 1864 by hotel pioneer Johannes Badrutt and many sports such as bobsleigh and cresta were invented at the Kulm. The Kulm Hotel St. Moritz has 150 newly renovated rooms and suites, seven restaurants, a lobby lounge and two bars, its own 9-hole golf course and a modern 2,000 m2 spa overlooking the valley. The team is happy to support you in the organization of bespoke activities and events such as management seminars, retreats, incentives, weddings, meetings, and banquets for up to 550 people. Large window fronts in the hotel and in the meeting rooms provide an unobstructed view of the magnificent Engadin mountain scenery and Lake St. Moritz. The experienced event team will be pleased to advise you individually. The Kulm is open in summer and winter.
