The region around the Bernina Pass is an outdoor paradise and offers a variety of sporting activities for outdoor enthusiasts – whether it’s mountain biking, trekking or hiking. The Bernina Express bike tour takes you on a 53-kilometre bike trail along the UNESCO Rhaetian Railway route from Pontresina to Poschiavo – with views of the fascinating summits and glaciers of the Bernina region. Starting from Ospizio Bernina, the speedy Poschiavino trail awaits as an attractive insider tip.
For people who enjoy both hikes in stages and longer hikes, the Bernina Glaciers experience with the Bernina tour offers a 26-hour mountain route from Poschiavo to Maloja – and you’ll always enjoy views of the different sides of the Biancograt, Piz Bernina and Piz Roseg. Part of the route also goes along the Upper Engadin lakes and on the Via Engiadina from Sils to Maloja.
The Bernina Trek provides a particular form of mountain adventure. The 7-day hike goes from Madulain to Poschiavo with overnight stays in various SAC huts in the Bernina region.
