Snowkiting has grown enormously in popularity in recent years. Not just as a result of the boom in kitesurfing on water, but also because the Swiss snowkiting scene has grown steadily to reach snowy landscapes throughout the country.
The sport can be enjoyed wherever there is snow and wind, and can be learned quickly and safely by people of nearly all age groups. In the Engadin, we are very lucky to have some of the best snowkiting locations in the world (Bernina, Silvaplana): the key elements of space, snow, wind and sunshine rarely come together in such perfection as they do here.
