It only takes a little horsepower before you are on your leisurely way, snuggled up under warm blankets, to the Hotel Roseg Gletscher (“Roseg Glacier”) at the far end of the Val Roseg.
Of course, you could tackle the seven kilometres (4.5 miles) on foot, but a little romance goes perfectly with the winter charm of the Val Roseg, together with the sublime views you enjoy from the hotel of the nearby glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the impressive Bernina massif. And by the way – the big dessert buffet at the Restaurant Roseg Gletscher is generally regarded as totally irresistible.
