Large, bigger, huge: the Cavaglia glacial mills, also referred to as “Giants’ Pots”, were shaped by the Palü glacier. Over the millennia, glacial water, till and gravel have worked the solid rock to mill huge holes into the ground. What an impressive natural phenomenon.
Reaching the glacial mills is a pushover: all it takes is a ten-minute walk from the Rhaetian Railway station at Cavaglia. The path is sign-posted.
