Cross-country skiing has a lot to do with technique and balance. Learning to cross-country ski therefore also involves acquiring certain skills, which you can then put into practice on the trail.
Perfect for this are our two skill parks in St. Moritz and Samedan. They offer variety, provide a challenge, and help make everyone better cross-country skiers.
At the Cross Country Cross Park Samedan, fun and a variety of exercises always go hand in hand. At 16 stations on the course, Nordic fans who already have experience on cross-country skis can train various key movements and skills in a targeted manner. Your running technique will improve in a playful way and can also be tested right away in short races.
The Cross Park, which is accessible free of charge, is located behind the Samedan Cross Country Ski Center in the middle of the beautiful Golfseeli area, which with its hilly topography gives the course its naturally dynamic shape. Groomed daily, the terrain - snow conditions permitting - offers locals and guests the best training conditions until the beginning of March.
A meeting place for beginner, fitness-oriented, and sporty skiers - in short, for everyone who enjoys cross-country skiing - is the St. Moritz Nordic Arena. Here you will find a night trail, a timing system, a practice area for beginners, a skills circuit, and a cross-country skiing track
The arena is accessible free of charge and is located in the area of the Polowiese behind the Hotel Kempinski, in the direction of the ski jump and Camping St. Moritz.
